Here you’ll find all the information you need to know about the Urban Park. If you’d like to register a booth for the Urban Park, please fill out the registration form below.

For eleven weeks, from June 16^th to August 27^th, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2 blocks of Third Avenue will be closed to cars.

The Urban Park will be between Cedar and Pine and Pine and Spruce along Third Avenue. Pine, Cedar, and Spruce will remain open to traffic. The Urban Park will be open during business hours; 8-5. The BIA has invested in patio tables and chairs to encourage customers to come out to the streets and enjoy.

To our members – please take advantage of the street closures! You can display merchandise outside, and put out your own tables and chairs. Promote your business outside your doors as well as inside. Remember the customers are there you just have to bring them in!

The idea of the Urban Park is to encourage the 3000 plus people who work downtown to come out of their buildings and start a natural environment for people to congregate on the streets.

We are always looking for musicians and artists. We are partnering with the community to bring some wonderful events downtown to involve the downtown worker. If you are a non-profit organization, or know someone who has talent, contact us at the office for more information.

There are tables and tents for rent on a first come first serve basis. They are not available on Thursdays as they are reserved for the Farmer’s Market.
